Héctor Acevedo, born in Lima, Peru in 1963, began his artistic journey at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes del Perú, after initially choosing to study Civil Engineering. Today he lives in Spain and is a recognized artist with over 35 years of experience. His works, which represent a masterful combination of structure and emotion, have been presented in numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, including in Spain, Belgium, Italy and Peru. Acevedo has received several international awards, including the first prize at the XIV Florence Biennale and the Antonio Muñoz Degrain Medal for Painting.
