Olivia Alexander is an experienced artist with nine years of intensive art training and specialises in contemporary mixed media art. Inspired by the oceans, coastal landscapes and estuaries of Australia, she brings the shimmering play of the seas and rivers to life in her works. Infused with 23-carat gold or silver leaf, polished shells and ochre pigments from the Australian coast, her vibrant paintings capture the graceful movement and fragile ecosystems of the sea. Olivia has over 40 years of creativity behind her and has presented her work in over 75 exhibitions worldwide since 2002. She has received numerous international awards, including bronze, pewter and silver medals from the Paris Société Académique des ARTS, SCIENCES & LETTRES (2012-2022). Her art, developed in her studio on Queensland's Gold Coast, celebrates the stunning beauty of the oceans through complex mixed media techniques.
