Purple Rabbitz - the dynamic artist duo, founded in 2017, unites the unique talents of two outstanding creatives: Pulpo.Pulpo and Nieg. Together they create works of art that blur the boundaries between illustration, abstract art and urban influences. Pulpo.Pulpo, a talented tattoo artist and communication designer who graduated from the University of Mainz, has been dedicated to art since a young age. Her passion for line and the development of characters with strong character is reflected in her works, which she presented in her first individual exhibitions. On the other hand, there is Nieg, a versatile Spanish artist whose artistic work is expressed in many forms, but his greatest passion lies in music - especially bass. He completed his mechanical engineering degree at the University of Malaga, followed by a degree in music production. At just 18 years of age he signed his first record deal. In addition to his work as a musician and presenter, Nieg brings his expertise to the color design of the duo's paintings. Together, the two create a unique style that fuses abstract art and illustration. Their works aim to make the gray reality more colorful and to captivate the viewer with the haunting gaze of their characters. Purple Rabbitz's style combines dynamism, energy and an urban influence with art historical references. Their art is reminiscent of the bright colors and clean lines of pop art, combined with the powerful and rebellious expression of street art. Influences of neo-expressionism can also be seen, visible through the expressive use of color and form, the raw brushstrokes and the emotionally charged depiction of the figures. Their works create a bridge between traditional portrait painting and contemporary forms of expression - captivating, intense and full of life.
