Anja Semling

Anja Semling is a graphic artist and painter from southern Germany. Her artistic work corresponds to a special aesthetic standard and is divided into several subject areas that the artist deals with alternately. After her long career as a graphic artist, Semling began painting professionally in 2012. Since then, she has devoted herself to the diverse animal world, especially the majestic elephants, which she has staged using various art techniques. She has also developed a local animal series that is always painted on fluid art backgrounds in a naturalistic style. In her figurative art, she creates human portraits on canvas, cleverly combining the motif with the abstract background. Her art is expressive and diverse. Semling is a member of art associations and Bild-Kunst e.V. She regularly takes part in exhibitions. Sales to date to: USA, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Germany.
