Susann Versteegen

Susann Versteegen was born in 1964 on the Lower Rhine and is a self-taught artist who lives in the heart of the Ruhr region. Her talent was discovered in her childhood and she won several competitions while still at school.
Her professional career initially led her away from art for many years with her training as a bank clerk. In her daily routine, however, she became increasingly aware that creativity was missing something vitally important in her life and her longing for freedom and the expression of creativity grew stronger and stronger. In her mid-40s, she quit her job in the financial sector and reinvented herself. Today, she uses her creative potential and finds fulfillment, happiness and satisfaction in her art.
