Jim Elias is a contemporary painter whose artistic path was revived after a long hiatus with a special moment: At the request of his family, he painted for the first time in thirty years for his eldest son's wedding.

After a variety of experiences — including careers, multiple marriages, children, a college degree, and numerous career changes — Elias began painting professionally in 2016 while working as a business professor. Since then, he has completed numerous commissions and created hundreds of paintings ranging from realistic to abstract art.

His works capture the simple elements of God's creation, seen through the eyes of a man who views the world with a unique perspective. Through the use of color and shape, Elias invites viewers to use their imagination and discover the greatness of God in his paintings.
